Who: Join Michelle Magers, M.S., CRC – GSSD Owner & Expert Trainer

What: These 1-hour LIVE virtually classes meet over ZOOM once a week for 6 consistent weeks. Classes include building on foundation and advanced obedience commands with covering service dog skilled tasks in 6 categories: Relief Assistance, Balance Support, Accessibility Assistance, Tactile Stimulation, Boundary Control, and Enhance Safety/ Security.  Additional bonus topics will be covered in this special online class in regards to owner-trained service dog handler rights, qualifications vs. certification, service dog handler expectations and an introduction to the GSSD Advanced Command Evaluation.

How & Where: Curriculum handouts will be provided with this class and the Zoom Call link will be emailed out prior to event.Classes include a formal curriculum, video and live demonstrations and Q&A for training tips, plan management, problem solving, and custom training support to students enrolled.

Prospective Class Dates: To Be Determined; estimated start date in July 2020

Technology Requirements: Clients enrolled will need to have access to high-speed internet and video camera technology (most smart phones, iPads, Apple products have these standard now).

Future Services: Since a strong training foundation is vital, it’s require that all new dogs/clients take this class before enrolling in any other classes, working dog courses, summer boot camps, community group classes (coming July 2020) or speciality services.
